GREENVILLE, Pa. — The Thiel College Cheerleading team continues to build a legacy of excellence with a fourth consecutive Top Three National Finish at the prestigious NCA College Nationals. The Tomcats earned their highest score in program history — a remarkable 94.99, resulting in an event average of 93.675 and a 3rd Place finish in the competitive Spirit Rally division.
This year's performance not only marked a historic high for Thiel Cheer, but also placed the program among elite teams. The Tomcats were honored with a Top 10 Highest Score finish across all Division I, II, III, and NAIA Spirit Rally divisions, a testament to the skill, energy, and relentless dedication of the team.
Head Cheer Coach Randall Burnett '22, a Thiel alumnus and former member of the team, has led the program to new heights since taking over the reins.
"I'm super grateful and honored to be a part of a program that I was once a member of and have such pride in," said Burnett. "To see how far we've come and what these athletes continue to accomplish is incredibly rewarding."
With a foundation of hard work, school pride, and consistency, Thiel Cheer continues to make a name for itself on the national stage — and shows no signs of slowing down.
