LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Thiel men's and women's cross-country team competed at the NCAA Division III Mid Atlantic Regional Championship at the West Branch Cross Country Course this afternoon.
The Tomcats competed as individuals. For the men, Carnegie Mellon won the team title, while Johns Hopkins Emmanuel Leblond finished first. For the women, Johns Hopkins won the team title, while Claire Anderson of Washington & Jefferson finished first.
Madalyn Semmler (Butler, Pa./Butler) finished in the 139th spot, with a time of 25:38.7.
Nathaniel Turner (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut Area) ran a 28:19.2, coming in 149th place.
Cooper Riley (Jamestown, Pa./Jamestown) finished just under Turner in 152nd place, with a 28:25.7 time.
Andrew Yocum (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) was the third runner for Thiel with a time of 29:20.7, coming in 168th place.
