PARK HILLS, Ky. – The Thiel College women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to the Thomas More Saints Friday at Covington Catholic High School in Park Hills, Ky.
 
Angela Campbell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Plum) battled Hannah Lowman at No. 2 singles but fell 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-8). Allyson Stanley (Oil City, Pa./Oil City) lost a close match at No. 4 singles 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (10-7) while Emilie Maxheimer (Massillon, Ohio/Massillon) was defeated by Matison Perry at No. 5 singles 6-1, 7-6 (7-4).
 
Campbell and Shyann Foreman (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro) also lost 8-3 at No. 2 doubles to Perry and Lacey Pohlman.
 
The Tomcats (1-2, 1-2 PAC) will return to action Wednesday when they take on the Fredonia Blue Devils on the road. The non-conference match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
