GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Thiel College women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss Saturday to the Thomas More Saints.
 
Tomcat Angela Campbell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Plum) played a close match against Nicole Capodagli at No. 4 singles but was defeated 6-2, 6-4. Also for Thiel, Mercedez Quarles (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland School of Science and Medicine) kept her No. 5 singles match against Lacey Pohlman close but lost 6-2, 6-3.
 
The Tomcats will return to action Oct. 21-22 when they participate in the PAC Championships.
