GREENVILLE, Pa. – Thiel College senior goalkeeper
Jill Harry (Aliquippa, Pa., Hopewell) has been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II Women's Soccer Second Team, the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Tuesday afternoon.
Harry is an accounting and business administration (finance) double major and is also pursuing a minor in economics. She has earned six designations to the College's Dean's List and has been named to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll on three occasions while carrying a 3.88 grade-point average.
She is a four-year starter for the women's soccer program where she has been named a first, second, and honorable mention all-PAC selection, and recently concluded her career as the College's all-time saves leader with 731. She is active with the College's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and serves as a supplemental instruction leader on campus.
The District II College Division consists of all non-NCAA Division I colleges and universities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. To be nominated for the program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.3 or higher cumulative grade-point average and be a starter or significant reserve.
