Mike Mazzocco made a name for himself at Thiel by amassing a wrestling career record of 87-14. A captain of the 1993-94 team, Mazzocco was a four-year letter winner, a three-time PAC champion and posted 19 career tournament placements, including five first-place finishes and four second-place finishes. The 1994 season was Mozzocco’s best, as he earned an individual title at the West Regional Championship, was selected as an NCAA national qualifier and earned All-American honors at 190 pounds with his eighth-place finish.
