Thiel College Athletics

Margaret Parsons finished her eight-year career as the head women’s basketball coach with a 110-73 overall record, including a 97-46 mark over her final six seasons at Thiel. Under her direction, Thiel won three PAC titles (1985, 1986, 1988). The team made its first and only appearance in the NCAA Division III playoffs in 1988 after finishing the season 19-4. Parsons was named the PAC Coach of the Year after each of her PAC championships. Her 1987 team finished the season ranked ninth in Division III after wrapping up the season with an 18-6 record.
