Les McClimans was a four-year letter winner and a two-time All-PAC honoree for the men’s golf team. In 1970, McClimans led Thiel to its first conference championship. The following season, Thiel went 14-1 in dual matches as McClimans again captured conference medalist honors by shooting a 155 over 36 holes, leading the Tomcats to their second consecutive PAC crown. In his senior season, McClimans helped Thiel take home its third straight conference title.
