John Lischner was the 1995 NCAA Division III National Champion in the javelin after his throw of 220-6.5 defeated the defending national champion. Lischner was a four-time NCAA Division III All-American, finishing seventh in 1994, third in 1996 and sixth in 1997. He was also a three-time conference individual champion in the javelin event.
