Jeff Sorenson '92 (Waterford, Pa. / Fort LeBoeuf) was a four-year letter winner and four-time All-PAC player at quarterback, making the Second Team twice and earning Honorable Mention laurels twice.

Sorenson is third in Thiel history in career total offense (5,558 yards), passing yards (5,303), completions (399) and attempts (854) while his 31 touchdown passes are fourth most in team history. He threw for 334 yards at Grove City in 1988, which is tied for sixth most in Tomcats history.
