George Kum-Nji was a four-time All-PAC selection (2001-04) at defensive end, including First Team accolades his final three seasons. Kum-Nji ranks third in program history for career tackles for loss (45.5) and sacks (27.0).

A Pittsburgh native and graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School, Kum-Nji recorded nine sacks in 2004, tying him for the sixth most in single-season program history.

Following his senior season, Kum-Nji went on to be named to the Academic All-District Team by ESPN the Magazine while earning All-South Region Third Team accolades by Don Hansen’s Football Gazette.
