Brian Hills was a four-year letterman in football and wrestling. His senior year he captained both teams. Hills compiled a career wrestling record of 46-15-1 and was the conference champion in 1978 at the 177-pound weight class. He was the conference runner-up in 1976 and 1977 at 177-pounds and was a Division III national qualifier in 1977 and 1978.
Hills served as the head wrestling coach at Reynolds High School for several years. At the time of his induction, his career coaching record was 160-20-1, winning 10 Section 3 AA Championships, six District 10 AA Championships, three Northwest Region AA Championships and one PIAA State Runner-up. Hill’s teams won the PIAA State Championship in 1993 and 1998. During those years, Reynolds High School wrestling was the Mercer County Athletic Conference Champion nine times. Hills coached many section, district and regional champions. Most impressively, he coached nine PIAA state champions.
During his years as a wrestling coach at Reynolds, he received many honors, including: Section 3 Coach of the year AA (six times), District 10 Coach of the Year AA (five times) and was twice named Pennsylvania Coach of the Year AA Wrestling.
