Betsy (Brougher) Monaco was a four-year letter winner in basketball and softball and a one-year letter winner in tennis. She earned All-Women’s Keystone Conference First Team honors as a shortstop her first three seasons on the softball team and nabbed All-WKC Second Team honors her senior season. On the hardcourt, Monaco earned All-WKC Second Team honors her sophomore season. She was also named the Thiel College Female Athlete of the Year in 1980 and 1983.
